My friend’s daughter came over to play today. During their time together, I heard, "C’mon, Sis" a lot. They’re two years apart in age, so sisters is a good relationship for them to try on. They played dollhouse, helped me bake unleavened bread for school, dressed up to go swimming (our guest didn’t realize the pool is closed for the winter), got ready to play basketball (wearing mini-skirts and Mary Janes), and chose attire for a dance party (bell-bottoms and sparkly shirts). They ended the day sitting next to one another holding Dora dolls while watching her on TV, and our guest fell asleep. My daughter had a sister for a day and I had a second daughter. A good time was had by all.
