You know that Christmas song that goes, "It’s the most wonderful time of the year…" ? I do love Christmas, but this is the happiest time of the year for me. I have time to recollect myself before the new school year and do things I really enjoy doing.
Dh has been a busy bee opening the pool, staining the deck, repairing the fence, and playing with the kids. He set up the Slip n Slide for the kids and I outfitted them all with new sunglasses I got as a deal from Walgreens.
May you all enjoy this summer, too, and as I tell dh, "Don’t let the moles get under your skin." All you have to do is say the word mole and my dh is in a frenzy. Just a few days ago, he said with great delight that the moles had left his beloved front yard alone. Not anymore! Dh was beside himself that they dug into his pride and joy when he was "at church of all places"! LOL We do have an enemy who tries to destroy what we hold dear when we’re otherwise occupied. Be watching, but don’t let him steal your joy.
