A Challenging Time
My sweet father in love had a stroke a few months ago. He is struggling with fatigue poor sleep and appetite as well as kidney failure. Please keep him in your prayers. He is so precious to us all.

People today are hungry for meaning and purpose in their lives. When someone offers up a simple explanation for troubles like "being disconnected from the power source" or requiring an "egoic enema," it’s easy to be confused. I put my faith in the Word of God rather than the flowery words of man who is mortal. I found a great video that compares the New Age teaching of Wayne Dyer and biblical Christianity. It could help you determine false teaching whether it’s coming from Oprah or your next-door neighbor.

I enjoyed taking all my babies to the beach for a week. There was a little rain on our parade. E took a baseball to the face (the responsible one is on your right!), several took in way too much sun, and there was some complaining and arguing when the rain kept us indoors. We were mostly prepared for the motion sickness this time, thank goodness.
Now that I’ve enjoyed my babies on the beach, I’m looking forward to babying myself a bit this summer. I really, really need some rest. No big commitments are on the horizon! I hope to blog some more–probably just in time for all of you to stop. LOL

How long ago was it that I promised to blog more regularly? I didn’t take the time to crop and straighten this photo (sorry!). I also didn’t take the time to buy my kids brown dress shoes that they would complain about wearing.
It’s hard to believe it’s spring, being as it’s been mostly cold and gloomy. We even had a white Easter!
I’m busy like a bee even though there are no flowers blooming. I am busy with homeschool, church, and speaking engagements. Things will slow down this summer (I hope!) and I can blog more frequently and stay caught up on all of yours.
God bless your busy spring!
