What should you do when life hits you in the eye like a baseball? I answer that question in a guest post on How to Make the Best of a Bad Situation I did for my dear friend, Deb, on her blog, Counting My Blessings.
If you have not visited her blog, I think you’ll find it like a chat with a Wonder Woman who’s seen more than her fair share of bad situations, but lives in victory through Christ. I hope you enjoy my post and your time on Counting My Blessings.
In case you’re wondering, we were at the beach when my oldest son threw a baseball right at his sister’s face. It was an accident, but it made for a pretty comical family photo.
Thanks again for writing such an awesome post for CMB. So thankful for you my dear friend. You have stood with me often on the rock of faith in Christ through many of those difficult situations. Thanks for your constant encouragement, and especially for your precious friendship!
oh wow, that is a classic family photo! When I was little, I was pretty accident-prone. We have many professional portraits with me with back eyes or cuts on my forehead! They are funny to look at now! Hope your little one heals up fast, poor thing!
Jenn, that picture was taken a few years ago. She is fine! Are any of your kids accident prone?
Evenin’ Melanie!
I’m heading over to read more now! ~ Blessings sister, Amy
Ha, love that photo!
