I have discovered something I didn’t think was possible–a kid activity I enjoy even less than painting. With six kids and three hooks vying for the opportunity of embedding themselves into human flesh, I am losing it. Now my husband is letting the six year old work on a hook. Lovely. We only caught one fish and believe it or not, I caught it. Lol
I am sure I am just way too anxious. However, I am not too anxious to fish again any time soon. What kind of kid activities send your anxiety soaring?

Honey you started fishing with your daddy when you were four and so did the boys. The whole thing is suggest to your kids’ daddy that HE take the kids fishing. Then the kids will be happy and so will you with an empty house lol In the ‘old” days it was dirt bike races. It scared me to death when Joe did that, however, your dad was fine with it. Kids are going to scare you forever, then it’s your grandchildren’s turn!
Just re-reading this. Nick just does not look happy. I wonder why that was???
He was really tired. And btw, dad took them all fishing the next day WITHOUT ME. lol
Now that is a wonderful fall day.

I really enjoy the kids activities I can watch – like dancing, for example, but don’t have to participate in OR clean up!
