I won't bore you with my "I'm so busy" excuses for not blogging, nor will I make you any promises about how often I'll be blogging from now on. I'm just hopping through on my way to the one big speaking event I agreed to do this year to share our Easter picture. I decided to save money and recycle the brown shirts from last year. I did let Elaina pick out her dress this year. I was happy she took my advice by not buying pink. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to my future daughters-in-law. I gave up on insisting my kids wear uncomfortable church shoes. You will now face a major battle in getting them to wear appropriate footwear for the rest of your married lives. I will help you in insisting they wear dress shoes to the wedding, but after that you're on your own. 😉

LOVE the photo!! and lol, church/good shoes are for weddings and job interviews!! males do not care on a whole (and my kids are the same). 🙂
I think that I will save that picture to my computer since I only get one family picture a year and that is at Christmas. Shame, shame, shame. lol You all look beautiful and I am happy that the boys are comfortable. I love you all so much. Mom
We “gave up” the what you wear battle the moment they had an opinion on it! One week, Rachel wore a dress she MADE out of large felt piece and had actually sewn together. It was spectacular, with an emphasis on the spectacle part. We brought backup clothes on the sly, which was smart as her dress only made it half-way through the morning, I think.
What a BEAUTIFUL photograph of gorgeous kids and handsome parents. You are truly blessed!
I only have one standard on clothes for church…no holes or stains but sometimes that gets by me too. I feel for my future daughter in laws too but my older two insist they will never get married…girls are just too wierd!
What a Great pic!! Laughing about the shoes!! My boys future wives will face the same shoe dilemma!! They hate ‘stuffy’ shoes.
